From Good Friday until the end of October, the Steinbruch Juchem is open during the weekend for those who would like to dig up minerals themselves. Beware: you have to sign up in advance on the website of the quarry (and while you are there, make sure to check the safety measures and requirements). If you are visiting the yearly Agate Exhibition in Niederwörresbach you can also enter the quarry that weekend provided you have an entry ticket to the exhibition.
